About the Event

PFLAG San Diego County, in partnership with the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, is hosting “Launching Leaders”, a scholarship awards luncheon on May 13th from 11:30am-2:00pm. Join us for this lunch reception at the McMillin Event Center in beautiful Liberty Station.

Scholarships are awarded to LGBT high school seniors continuing higher education or full-time undergraduate and graduate students through a competitive application and essay process, and are awarded based on commitment to their chosen field, financial need and academic achievement. Luminaries, such as City Council member Todd Gloria, were past recipients of PFLAG SD scholarships, and we look forward to celebrating the next generation of leaders!
