SDHDF held its annual boat cruise on Sunday, September 24, 2006, 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, aboard "The California Spirit," San Diego Harbor Excursion's newest and most deluxe ship! Once again, we set sail under the theme "Catch the Spirit!" and offered a sumptuous champagne brunch, delightful entertainment and loads of fun.
This year's event, which was host to over 140 Foundation supporters, was a great success in raising awareness of our organization and supporting our ongoing efforts in the LGBT community.

The Entertainment!
 Tenor Johnny Hochgraefe is currently
singing tight jazz harmonies with one of southern California's
hippest men's ensembles, The Cosmos. He has also performed with San
Diego Opera, Lyric Opera San Diego, and numerous SDSU musical
ensembles, including the Chamber singers and Opera Theatre.
 Vocalist and pianist Evan Crone has
performed with many local vocal artists here in San Diego and is a
regular host of a night of song at the Caliph in Hillcrest. He has
recorded original music, accompanied musical theatre, and, as he
says "played for more cocktail parties and conventions than I can
even count." A graduate of Westminster College, he has also
performed with the New York Philharmonic and at "Live from Lincoln
Center."
